SIdora Sprint 48
-
4
As a user, I want a method for me to choose the project space in which to work.
When a user first logs in, an initial landing page will be shown consisting of a vertical, scrollable listing of all the project spaces they have permission to view. There will be four columns:
- A decorative Icon, default or associated with the project space
- The title of the project space
- An optional description of the project space
- A checkbox which, if selected, designates a default space where the user will automatically be sent upon login instead of this initial page
A menu will be added to a menu bar at the top of the Sidora Workbench window labeled "Spaces". The bar will also include the "Profile" button and "Logout" button. The menu bar will be visible on all pages. If an administrator is logged in the menu bar will display and additional button "Add Space" displayed that can be used to create a new space. This functionality will be described in a separate issue.
The "Spaces" menu will show a drop down of about nine or fewer spaces, a divider, and a menu item "All Spaces". The "All Spaces" selection will show the initial landing page containing a list of all the project spaces. The user can unselect their default project space. The menu will also include "Clear Default" selection that unselects the users default project space.
A hover-over for the "Spaces Button" will say "Project Spaces".
The project space name will be a link that sends the user to the selected space. Upon selecting link the project tree-table will be displayed containing the selected project space.
Note that system administrators will no longer be presented with all spaces in a single tree.
