If a CT Unified Ingest fails, the corresponding cache directory needs to be removed. It may be best to remove the directory any time a re-submitted deployment is detected. Another alternative is to move the cache directory to an error directory to support debugging. The primary purpose of the cache directory is for robust debugging. Ultimately the cache is not needed after a successful ingest, we are keeping them for now is for monitoring and debugging.
