While testing with new users at SERC workshop, one user has the use case that they import data from other agencies (eg NOAA and USGS), the data comes in tabular form, but the first 100 or so lines are header information about the data. Users would like the ability to be able to specify how many header lines to skip before the parser starts looking at the data.
